New Personal Project "E-Power Meter"

There is a long time that I don't update this space due to professional issues that haven't permitted me to dispose enough time to do it.

Currently, after the delivery of my Final Career Project, I'm thinking about build an Electrical Power Meter with Internet connection that will permit me supervise and control my own home electrical consumption.

Firstly, I have bought a power meter Velleman VE EMDIN01 which has a pulse output. This output gives a pulse each Watt of consumption.

Later, with an Olimex PIC32-PINGUINO-OTG board and a MOD-WIFI plug, I will count these pulses and upload this information to a MySQL server on the Internet and get access to this information from different locations like a laptop, a smartphone, etc.

I will update this blog every time I have news about my project and enough time to do it. I hope it will be of interest and of help to you.

TDSApplication v1.03 released

In the next link you can find the new release of "TDSApplication" at its version 1.03

Next changes have been made in this new release:

- Corrections of some little errors
- Added two new functional blocks (Real Part and Imaginary Part)

Some new and useful changes will be made in the next version 1.04 soon.

TDSApplication v1.02 released

In the next link you can find my personal project "TDSApplication".

This software enables you to learn the basics of digital signal processing like additions, convolutions, delays, etc. both in time domain and frequency domain.

The process of learning is carried on in a graphical environment that makes easy the process of operation construction and calculation.
This software is available both in standalone application and applet form.

You can download it, you can modify it and, yes, its free and open source.
